Plunging Necklines, Slinky Silhouettes, High-Fashion Bridal Inspiration from Jenny Packham
Designer Jenny Packham isn’t a favorite among Hollywood celebrities for nothing! Packham is all about the plunging necklines, metallic hues, and sparkling embellishments, and her Spring 2011 collection truly speaks for itself. I adore the sultry, Old Hollywood screen siren aesthetic that Packham so flawlessly brings to her modern day creations.
Another Jenny Packham staple- light, sheer fabrics that float down the runway (or the white aisle!). These delicate fabrics are beautifully ethereal, and when paired with lots of sparkle and shine, it's the perfect fashion juxtaposition.
If you love Packham's style as much as I do, check out her drool-worthy wedding dresses in our fashion-packed Style gallery!

Bridal Hair How To: Shiny, Bouncy Hairstyle Inspired by Brigitte Bardot

Bridal Hair How To: Shiny, Bouncy Hairstyle Inspired by Brigitte Bardot
Do you remember Jessica Biel's drop dead gorgeous hairstyle at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards? I know I do! Her locks were shiny, bouncy, sexy and pretty much every other adjective us girls strive for when it comes to special occasion hair. And believe it or not, there are just three simple steps to achieving this look, no celebrity hair god needed!
Step 1- The Volume: Add oomph by applying a bit of volumizing mousse to damp hair. Mark recommends Dove Body & Lift Volumizing Mousse because “it gives the hair body that will last all through the evening!” What this means, lovely bride-to-be, is that you won’t have to fret about your wedding day hair falling flat before the wedding reception is over.
Step 2- The Blowout: Blow dry your hair with a large round brush, which will encourage lift and movement.
Step 3- The Hold: Once your hair is completely dry, spray a flexible hairspray all over. A flexible formula is essential to give your style hold while still allowing for movement, and will ensure you avoid the sticky, stiff helmut head look on your wedding day.

Spring 2011 Wedding Dresses from Aire Barcelona

I fell head over heels in love with the Naipe wedding dress (above) the second I laid eyes on it! Delicate floral appliques (accented with sparkling crystals) adorn the a-line skirt, and a simple sweetheart neckline adds a classic touch. But the icing on the cake is a bling-tastic jeweled bridal belt.
If you want a wedding dress with some serious WOW factor, the Nuria dress (below) is fit for a princess.
And finally, for our trendsetting brides-to-be who are on the hunt for a totally unique wedding dress, the Nubil dress is a must-see! Fashioned from Macramé, a favorite during the Victorian Era, this bridal creation is unexpected, youthful, and feminine.
These are just a few of my favorites, but there are plenty more stunning gowns in Aire's Spring 2011 collection! Check them out in our wedding dresses Style gallery.

The Asian traditional colors of female wedding dresses

The Asian traditional colors of female wedding dresses
The Asian traditional colors of female wedding dresses are often red, ivory or hot pink; the bride opts for red saris, ghararas or shararas and change into white for the reception after. The elements of the gowns consist of a top made of ivory chiffon shirt having heavy embellishments on neckline, straps, laterals and hem. Heavy sequins work among the floral embroidery. At the bottom we find an ivory banarsi jamawar two-legged gharara that features orange and hot pink dip-dye effects.
The veil/Dupatta is heavily embellished from borders with scattered sequins all over the dupatta. Floral embroidery is enriched with beads, Swarovski crystals, cut-glass and gemstones.
Wedding dresses with colored floral embellishments need bridal trains in order to emphasize the line of a style and shade that flatters brides' body. The train itself originates in times of Royal style with trains worn by Queens, which themselves are derived from seeing a Peacock used as royal birds.
Many brides that choose the colored floral embellishments are doing so guiding themselves after the seasons. For spring and summer brides pale pastel colors are the most favored.
For autumn brides the yellows, golds and shades of orange seem to match best the choice of the season.
Either way it's a common fact that wedding dresses with colored floral embellishments are often more difficult to find since the best way of getting them is mostly related to special orders and implies hand made manufacture.

Fall is a season that displays the best the feelings of romance, the view of the golden leaves that fill the trees, the nostalgic early sunsets with a copper-colored sun casting its rays on a nature that prepares to retire toward the sleepy winter, everything in autumn season is related to a romantic note. Your wedding date has to be set and because you and your beloved fiancé are born in an autumnal month you decide to celebrate your wedding in one of the fall's days, more precisely at the mid fall when the season is unfolding at the fullest its splendor.
Planning the wedding you both agree that the best theme of your wedding would be fall. So every detail of the wedding atmosphere has to connect to the fall theme. You have already pictured how your fall wedding gown would look like. But before this, as if you want to give some time for this detail to surprise you enjoying for later the style of the gown in a maximum of excitement, you plan to create the wedding invitations to let your family and friends know about your fall themed wedding. They, as well as you, might need time to get themselves ready for your wedding. Anyway it is merely the beginning of the summer time so there is still plenty of time left for you, too.
